I enjoy going to this casino. It's convenient in location and a calm atmosphere. I hate getting carded every time I come. I think it's because the guards are bored, and when they see me, they feel like they are doing something. S/o to the one annoying guard that carded me, tried to say that the Cowboys were better than the Eagles & that the Eagles always fold (apparently, he doesn't watch football) (9-1), and then the Eagles mercifully killed the Cowboys.

If you like playing slots, save your time and just light your money on fire. Harrah's Philadelphia is a typical casino that lacks any upscale ammenties. I've been on various occasions and different nights of the week. What you can count on are tight slots and cigarette smoke. What you can't count on are the restaurants being open or getting a drink at the tables. Often the cocktail waitresses huddle together and talk instead of servicing customers. The dealers and pit bosses are generally friendly. Like all Harrah's properties, the comps are non existent. The poker room is spacious and hosts daily tournaments. The location is sketchy as hell, right next to a prison.

It was our first time here and we had a pretty good time. The staff was very friendly, the drinks kept coming and you can smoke inside. Very spacious and they have different shops and food inside. I'd go back if given the chance.

Dirty and smells like a giant ashtray. Not good for nonsmokers as people smoke in the nonsmoking areas, even close to the front. They move most of the old good machines back in the smoking area. The few nonsmoking table games seem to be scattered randomly instead of being grouped together in the beginning of the pit, so can't play any of them. But they are closest to us and easy to get to.

Not good but not that terrible. If I could give this 2.5 stars I would. They’re definitely making strides to be better but one step is getting waitresses to deliver drinks in a more timely fashion and not “forget” when it’s not very busy. $15 blackjack is a joke it should never be $15 considering the lack of available amenities at this place that make it very much undesirable. Dealers are very nice and competent for the most part. Overall id probably go to sugar house over harrahs unless you really want to use your total rewards then in that case just stick with harrahs
