I spent my young childhood in this church. My sister Rev. Catherine O. Jacobs was the first one to be baptized in the new church. My father sang in the choir. My mother ( Dr. M. L. Wortham) worked hard in the church. I have good memories about Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and BTU on Sunday evening. I was married at Bethany and still love Bethany .
Bethany is still the church where I was Baptized in 1956 and my parents were members; William and Margaret Jones of the Senior Choir and the Senior Usher Board respectably.
Pastor Morris is a great preacher teacher and Sunday morning worship was awesome
