Nice trail along the river but gets crowded in nice weather.
Really beautiful and extensive park with a ton of cool features. Recently walked the northern part and it was stunning. Be careful going off trail though, there are sinkholes and I got stuck up to my knees in something similar to quicksand. Nearly lost a boot.

This tour was fantastic. Not only was it lead by 40+ year experienced mill enthusiast (Ivan) but he's also the guy that designed the full four floor rehab and it's chief miller. Everything is wood and stone and leather - with about thirty different machines all connected to the main wheel shaft. And they love turning the whole thing on several times so you see it all in action. And then if you're me you ask him thirty questions that he is thrilled to answer. Betty was also excellent to chat with. Spent a full hour and it was a joy.
It is a nice place for us to learn about preindustrial green energy source---water. There is an excellent guide and teacher. I forget his name.
