I came in tonight for probably the 5th time since I’ve first tried this place. Every meal is better than the last. Our server “Mo” is super nice and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We had the privilege of coming in just at the tail end of their nightly “briefing” that all the staff attended to prep themselves for the evening’s menu and the strategies they are going to employ to provide the best of service and hospitality to their guests. It was very interesting to over-hear one of the staff members talk about a dining experience she had while visiting Colorado and wanted to incorporate all the things she loved about her experience, here at Redwoods.

I waited 15 minutes for a cocktail, my younger son waited 10 minutes for grapes that came with his meal. It is sort of embarrassing to even complain about that but when I did the waitress said the "grapes are all the way on the opposite side". I'm not really sure what that meant but I won't go back. Food was so-so bar food, super oily shrimp, boring Caesar....but with the service, no thanks!

I particularly enjoyed the beer tasting event they held a few months back. A great way to showcase their kitchen as well as there enthusiastic way to bring about business. Well done.

I for one will continue to return to Redwoods.

The price point may be slightly on the high side, but from my experience, the food has always been top notch. The ingredients have always been fresh. The presentation and the service have been equally comparable.

Consistently at the top of my list. I love the fact that they have all of your rewards in their computer and if you forget to ask for one they will remind you and extend it automatically (my wife's birthday in this case). I had the steak from the specials and it didn't have the degree of wood-grilled charred flavor of the KC Ribeye I usually order from the menu, but it was still very good. We shared a blueberry crisp dessert with ice cream that was excellent. I look forward to another great meal at Redwoods on my own birthday in September!

The menu selections are artfully crafted. The staff and management are professional. I have been here many times. Yes, I have been here at a busy time and noticed a slight difference, however it is to be expected with high volume. It did not deter me from returning.

I'm pretty sure everyone that worked here the day I dined was high. Like super high and they were slow a molasses. 4 of us for lunch at 2pm got the check at 3:30 and didn't order anything elaborate. The host seemed kind of annoyed to be working as soon as we walked in but we were pretty hungry so stuck it out. We ordered as soon as we sat bc I just knew it would be that kind of place. The salsa had whole tomatoes in it.

I also heard what I believed to be the management telling the staff about a review they recently received from another guest about how good their experience was from A-Z. So these comments do not go unnoticed and management does listen to their customers. The take away I got from all of this is that this establishment is very experienced in the hospitality industry and they will do whatever it takes to ensure customer service and satisfaction. I was absolutely pleased to hear first hand how much pride they take in their business. Keep up the good work Redwoods!!!

I had decided to surprise my mom on her birthday night, by taking both her and my dad out to celebrate, to which I selected Redwood's Grill & Bar as my choice after reading the great reviews. Without rambling on, I am just going to outline the things I saw and experienced while we were there that makes this review just one star: We asked for 3 waters, 2 beers and a glass of wine but we never got the waters, the beers game out when our food did and the glass of wine was not chilled - We waited 45 minutes for our appetizer, a plate of calamari which were lukewarm and simpler of a plate than Chili's - I ordered medium for my burger and got well-done, my father got 3 pieces of rack of lamb and paid an arm and a leg, and my mother got a small plate of seafood with an atrocious price range as well - We were asked if we wanted bread when any normal restaurant serves bread without asking - When I stated to the waitress my disappointment in the meals, the waiting time and the fact that this was all for my mom's birthday her response was "When I asked if everything was okay, she should have said something" with a sarcastic tone then walking away. That very same night I called and spoke to the manager on for that night, explaining to him all that happened. He apologized and stated that he will be sending something to our address as a way of apologizing on their behalf, hoping we come back. A month later, I receive a letter in the mail with my address and just my first name prior to it....it was a letter from the manager with a gift card. The card read: "...It is always our goal to give people a great experience and since yours was not, I have enclosed a gift card for 6.99 so you can come back and get a belated birthday present. Hope to see you soon - Signed the manager" - Also enclosed was a folded up menu with absolutely NO section for a desert, but that is beside the point. How cheap much an upper-class restaurant be, to offer a gift card of 6.99 for desert when my family and I that night spend over $100 on the entirety of our meals and were still unsatisfied???? It is extremely rude, disrespectful and cheap - We will surely not be returning but the gift card will, via mail. I highly recommend to go elsewhere and spend that kind of money on a good meal with good service and personnel that are more considerate about their customers. This restaurant may seem that they do, but a gift card for $6.99 shows otherwise. It is a slap in the face. I have already told my family, friends and co-workers to never step foot into your location and trust me, my family and I will do the same.
